Home of the 2016-2017 Distinguished Club!
We would love for you to join us Tuesdays at noon. Meet new friends, and get involved in your community! We enjoy networking, socializing and having fun with events like meeting each other out once a month at a local restaurant, attending golf outings, putting on great fundraisers like Kiwanis pancake day, Rose sales for Administrative Professionals day, and other fun fellowship activities.

What is a distinguished club?  Kiwanis Clubs around the world strive to hit a variety of goals such as membership growth, hours of service, and a variety of other milestones and achievements. Who benefits from achieving these milestones and goals? The community in which the club is located! More hands (members) means more service can be conducted, and more of a community impact can be realized. We are happy to have this status for the 2016-17 Kiwanis Year!

L to R:
Accepting the Distinguished Club Award for 2016-17 are: Mike Daly, 1st Vice President, Mark Petersen, Secretary, Lisa Williams, incoming Lt. Governor, 2018-19, Brent Nelson, Immediate Past President (whose term the award is being celebrated) Penny Linneweh, Past Lt. Governor, Cathie Rochau, President, Wynn Fitzpatrick, member.

Looking to attend fun community events? Check out our Fundraisers, Evening Club,  or Upcoming Meetings tabs (at left) to see what's happening soon!

The QC Kiwanis Evening Club of the Quad Cities IL/IA meets once per month on a weekday evening at Bad Boyz Pizza, Moline. Check the Calendar of Events for specific dates and locations relating to either group. The evening group has an annual Spring "Bags" tournament, as well as conducting a variety of service and community-based projects including serving at meal sites. At right, the group is shown making holiday greeting cards that they in turn share with assisted living facilities in the area, to spread cheer.

Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time. We are a part of Kiwanis International, one of the three largest service organizations in the world.  In addition to participating in community service projects and volunteerism, we participate globally in the Kiwanis International Eliminate" program, in hopes of eliminating maternal neonatal tetanus.
