The Kiwanis Club of Moline, IL is proud to announce their affilliation with Seton Catholic School, Moline, IL
The Seton Jr. High students have formed an official Kiwanis "Builders" Club, chartered in Fall, 2017!

Teacher Moderators: Ms. Tiffany Colon, and Ms. Pat Voss.

Being a member of a Kiwanis Builders Club is a great way to continue to do service within the community, something Seton students are already familiar with. Builders Clubs help root the students in the values of Kiwanis, and creates a natural progression into Key-Club, the high-school based Kiwanis program. The member can continue in College with “Circle K” and into adulthood with any local Kiwanis Club.

The club will begin their formation and conduct service in and around the school for the remainder of the Spring semester. In Fall of 2016, officer elections will be held and the students will begin to follow a regular meeting schedule. They will work as a team and on committees in order to make decisions regarding what service projects they want to participate in, and even help conduct and promote a pancake breakfast in conjunction with the noon Kiwanis Club.

We are excited to watch the Builders Club grow, and learn about Kiwanis locally, regionally, nationally, and Internationally.
Please continue to watch this page or the Kiwanis Club of Moline, IL facebook page for photos and stories about the Moline Kiwanis Builders Club at Seton Catholic Middle School, Moline!

Kiwanis Builders Club members were recently recognized at the 8th Grade Seton Recognition Mass, in May, 2017. Hopefully, many of the 8th grade Builders will go on to join Key Club at Alleman High School.

Seton Builders Club Members assist at the Seton School after-care program.

The Kiwanis Club of Moline would like to thank Vice President Mike Daly for his leadership in working with Mrs. Jane Barrett, Principal, to create the club and get it started. Seton has designated two advisors to the Builders Club, Mrs. Pat Voss, 8th grade teacher, and Mrs. Tiffany Colon, 7th grade teacher. We appreciate their enthusiasm in working with the students to begin this new club at Seton, and to get the students excited about the various opportunities that can be explored.
